ABOUT ME
I was twelve the first time my mother entrusted me with her precious camera: a 35 mm Nikon Zoom Touch. The first results were mediocre. At best! Fast forward some time later, the year was 1994 and I was developing films in a dark room with my eyes closed.
My name is Sarah, I am a scientist, a manager, an artist, a cook, a baker, a daydreamer, a people watcher and a photographer.
I have always been fascinated by the human being: How it works, how it lives, what motivates it to behave in a certain way, what it feels.
Are we a product of our biology? Or is there more to it, a complex interaction with our environment? Simple yet extremely complex questions that instigated my journey to attempt to better understand the human being inside and out, and collect image evidence along the way.
The human? My favorite subject. My goal? To capture its essence, place it in strange environments, trigger emotions and questions.
